Nagios Plugins 2.5 Released

The Nagios Plugins team is proud to announce that nagios-plugins 2.5 has been released and is available for download.

Enhancements:

  • check_by_ssh: Add –unknown-timeout flag (Paul B. Henson)

Bugfixes:

  • check_ssh: Fixed issue where the remote-protocol flag was not functioning correctly (Sandor Gardil)
  • configure.ac: update egrep -> grep -E (Michael Orlitzky)
  • check_procs: Some stylistic fixes to –exclude-process (#726) (Edgar Fuß)
  • check_icmp: Fixed issue where the “No hosts to check” message was not returned for IPv6 address :: (Andreas Hasenkopf)
  • check_dns: Fixed issue where reverse mapping regressed and failed (Marcel Telka)
  • check_http: Fixed issue which resulted in segfault when SSL connection failed (Marcel Telka)
