Why don't you use the nagios-3.0.1 rpm files from the server:monitoring 
repository?

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/monitoring/SLE_10/

^^^ if you add this URL via YaST, you can install the current nagios 
packages via "yast2 sw_single":
- nagios (should require the other two automatically)
- nagios-www
- nagios-plugins
- *nagios* (if you like)

Just have a look in the specfile of the nagios-*.src.rpm - this has all 
needed RPMs in "BuildRequires".
