[Nagiosplug-help] Compilation Errors on AIX

I am trying to add my AIX boxes to Nagios.  I was able to get nrpe to
compile, but I can't seem to get the 1.3.0 plugins to compile.  I am
running AIX 3.4.  The error I get is 

gcc  -g -O2 -L. -Lyes/lib -o check_disk  check_disk.o utils.o
../lib/libnagiosplug.a popen.o -lutil
collect2: Library libutil not found
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.


Stop.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.


Is this a libutil problem and if so, do you know where I can get the
library?
