[Nagiosplug-help] check_ldap

I am trying to put a check on my LDAP server. I am using the check_ldap
plugin.

 

versions

check_ldap (nagios-plugins 1.3.0) 1.4

Nagios 1.0

 

When I perform the check from the command line it comes back OK.

 

./check_ldap -H host.wd-net.com -b dc=domain,dc=com -p 389

LDAP ok - 0 seconds response time

 

./check_ldap -H host.wd-net.com -b dc=domain,dc=com -p 389 -D "cn=Directory
Manager" -P password

LDAP ok - 0 seconds response time

 

When I view the result in Nagios (from the web) the response is :  (No
output!) 

 

Stopping LDAP doesn't trigger an alert.

 

 

What am I missing with the check_ldap plugin?
