[Nagiosplug-help] check_nrpe and syslog error Host <ip> is not allowed to talk to us!

I've got NRPE set up on about 25 of my machines without incident.  However on 1 of them i get this error in messages

Apr 14 14:12:29 hostname nrpe[6642]: Host ip is not allowed to talk to us!

I've looked all over and can't figure out what the issue is.
