[Nagiosplug-devel] JNRPE and Java plugins

Just to let you know: if you are interested, some year ago I started an
OpenSource project that allows the creation of Java plugin for Nagios
without the overhead of the JVM (just one JVM is necessary to execute the
JNRPE software; the plugins then runs inside the same JVM).

The project is called JNRPE since it is a Java implementation of the NRPE
communication protocol; to execute JNRPE plugins you must use check_nrpe.
If you need to execute legacy plugins, they be executed through JNRPE using
the EXEC JNRPE plugin.
