Some additional info: Due to some technical reasons the original fix for
check_ntp have been reverted.

Meanwhile I split check_ntp into two plugins and one of them
(check_ntp_peer) will have the better method of getting the stratum. Should
be in the next release anyway and check_ntp will be marked as deprecated
(but will remain for some time).

That would be fairly easy now that i know that much about check_ntp and
can be interesting in many scenarios :)
