Sorry, lost my subscription and just found a old reply to my question. The
answer to your question is that i'm running a High Available configuration
and the filesystem containing the plugins is shared between a computer
running SLES9 at i386 and another running SLES9 at x86_64

I unfortunately can't help you on that, but why can't you just compile
the plugins on each architecture?
