Summary: check_frontpage
Initial Comment:
In anger at that particular bane of unix sysadmins lives, or
perhaps my own willingness to install it, the other day I wrote a
nagios plugin to monitor whether frontpage appeared to be working
on a given site.
Do with it as you will, but I accept no responsibility for its failing to
allow you to sleep soundly at night, save you from tearing your
hair out, etc.
Obviously FrontPage remains a trademark/copyright/whatever of
Microsoft, and the fact that this plugin has ever proved necessary
as a result of various misconfigurations and website migrations
from server to server is not intended as any kind of indicator for or
against the quality of Microsoft's software.

In order to make my life easier, I've migrated any future
development on this thing to
http://www.orenet.co.uk/opensource/.
If there's anything added, it'll be published there first,
and maybe here later, when I get around to it.
I'll still be checking sourceforge redirected email, and so
on, but a quick tar -czvf && scp is much easier than the
sourceforge frontend ;-)
Although I have added a GPL header, and attached the LICENSE
file into a tarball inline with Nagios licensing to this and
any future versions, this should not effect the use of it
within Nagios in any way, and provides a degree of
protection for me.
The version in question with GPL stuff attached is added
with this comment as a .tar.gz.
K.

Thank you for the plugin and sorry that it has taken so long
to acknowledge.
Plugin should be in /contrib in the next 1-2 hours

Just a bit more verbose.
