Summary: check_pgsql doesn't work with PostgreSQL 8 on RHEL 4

Initial Comment:
When trying to run check_pgsql on Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 4 with the PostgreSQL 8 RPMs from the PostgreSQL
website I get the following error:

[root at c9 ~]# /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_pgsql
/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_pgsql: error while
loading shared libraries: libpq.so.3: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

The reason is that the PostgreSQL RPMs for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 4 contain the following libraries:

/usr/lib/libpq.so.4
/usr/lib/libpq.so.4.0
