I was wondering; is there a standard on whether to include Severity in the
status text? Several of the plugins seem to preface their results with a
severity, as in:
OK: blah blah blah
CRITICAL: foo foo foo
Others leave it out, instead relying on the severity field in Nagios to
show that data based on the return code.
/var is foo% full
Is there a standard or guideline on when to use either format in new
plugins?
Thanks,
