[Nagiosplug-devel] Plugin Newbie

Hi!  I am new to Nagios - I have it installed on a Solaris 8 machine, and
am using several of the default plugins successfully.  I am very impressed
with it!  I already have quite a few custom shell script & perl scripts
that I use for monitoring different things here - i.e. - checking whether
default routes have changed on devices where they shouldn't have, or
pulling web pages back through a proxy, etc.  I was hoping that I could
convert these scripts to work with Nagios, but I couldn't find info on how
to do this.  Are there any specified inputs / outputs for the plugins that
I could incorporate, and my scripts would work?  Thanks for any info that
